Ashley Shaw

Ashley is a lifelong equestrian. Before becoming a dressage rider, she competed in 4-H and local Quarter Horse Association Shows. She incorporates techniques from many different training styles to help the horses understand what’s being asked by the rider.
Ashley has worked for other professionals in the Netherlands, California, and Texas. She has trained with many top professionals, including Penny Zavitz-Rockx, Claire Darnell, Lauren Sprieser, Stephen Hayes, and Jeremy Steinberg.
Ashley believes strongly in continuing education and hosts variety of clinics at Galloping Springs Ranch. The facility also hosts a USDF level 1 competition called the Cactus Classic.
Training consists of training rides, ground work, and hacking and may include a combination of these sessions and lessons. Availability is limited to ensure adequate time to focus on each horse and rider’s goals.
Ashley takes great Pride on offering fair, clear, and concise instruction suitable for horses and riders of all backgrounds. Ashley believes no goal is too big or too small and loves to help her students achieve their dreams.
